Join Me in My Blog! For What really matters
I know that you like uggs, either shoes, slippers, bag or whatever. They are comfortable as they are made from sheepskin. For shoes and slippers, they make your feet warm especially in winter. You might like them because they are stylish. You might have seen it sported by some celebrities. You may like it in black, grey, pink, because that is your favourite colour for it. It makes you feel not only comfortable but also great!
When you have gotten what you like in them, after a while, you would feel that there is something more that you like. The comfort or the great feeling you have gotten in them, don’t satisfy all that is in you. There is some sort of emptiness that need to be filled up by something more.
Is it because our capacity to like was built for something more than what you get from comfort, or the passing joy of feeling great?
This blog is built to show that there is more to life than comfort and passing joy. You would be grateful that you came across this blog. I assure you that I would be writing only on what really matters.
You may be doing what you are doing now. But have you ask yourself that what you are doing is what really matters? You won’t regret that you spend time reading this blog. I have experienced of finding valuable things in life in unlikely places. This blog could be that unlikely place for you.
Although I don’t have ugg boots or shoes, but I have a pair of ugg slippers. I use it in winter to make my feet warm. Even it is not winter I still use it. Because when I rise up everyday to prepare for work, I rise up very early. I rise up at about three o’clock in the morning when all others are still asleep. I use my ugg slippers to reduce the noise that my feet will make so as not to wake up others in the house.
I would like to share about finding a practical use in a unlikely thing in an unlikely place.
In winter it is uncomfortable to have cold feet. And to put on cold socks on putting on your shoes for work in the early morning, makes the matter worse. I would like very much to warm my socks, before putting on my shoes in preparation for work.
Has it ever occurred to you to make use of a rice cooker to warm your socks? It did for me. I found this old rice cooker in our garage, ready to be disposed off on the next rubbish pick-up.
Hey! This is what I need to warm my socks. S o I put in my socks in it, on top of the steamer plate, closed the lid and put it on “cook”. After some few minutes, because there is no water in it, it automatically switch off . And presto! I took my warm socks now ready to warm my feet for my shoes to put on ready for work
